The role of Intermediate Quantity Surveyor is varied and requires high levels of service to all colleagues, and clients to the Company ensuring that they are dealt with in a professional and attentive manner. The role consists of the following duties
Intermediate QS main duties will include:
Responsible for:
- Preparing Variations for review by project team.
- Agreeing value of variations with support of project team
- Preparing Application for Payment for review by Directors
- Preparing contract documents for labour only & domestic sub-contractors
- Assessing and agreeing labour only sub-contractor’s interim applications
- Assisting buying department with material procurement costs and forecasts
- Reviewing material schedules provided by project team.
- Monitoring preliminary spend and forecast
- Attending site and developing strong relationships with our site teams
About the Candidate:
The Intermecdiate Quantity Surveyor will have the drive and energy to support the project team when requested together with the confidence to request assistance from others when necessary.
The correct candidate will be ambitious and be eager to take on additional responsibilities.
Strong financial and numeracy management skills
Good negotiating skills
Computer literate including Excel, Word, etc
Good communicator and ability to contribute to continuous improvement within the team and organisation.
Full UK driving license as will be required to visit sites
Applicant must be eligible to work in the UK.

Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30 pm and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Fridays

Salary: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
