Description

We are actively looking for a Passive fire Protection surveyor who has undertaken PFP inspection QS works previously.  Working for a dynamic pro-active refurbishment and maintenance direct contractor, you will be highly rewarded for your skills, knowledge and background.  Primarily working within the Refurbishment and Maintenance area across a variety of sector which will include MOD, NHS, Care Home, Hotel chains, housing etc.

Successful candidate must have

1. Passive Fire Protection Experience (door installations/maintenance & compartmentation)
2. Experience in 3rd part applications such as Bolster/Boris/Plan Radar/OneTrace
3. Have good working knowledge of current Health & Safety and Legislation including approved document B
4. Have a good understanding of codes of practice such as ADSMA/BS8214:2016
5. NVQ level 2 in passive fire (Desirable)
6. Hold 3rd party accreditation such as Firas/BMTrada/IFC (Desirable)

Responsibilities 

1. Carry out competently pre surveys of both fire doors and compartmentation and identify non-conformance/issues.
2. Provide solutions to rectify any non -conformance/issues.
3. Post work inspections.

1. Produce reports and offer technical advice and recommendations.
2. Assisting with the wider team on multi disciplined contracts.
3. Assist in managing 3rd party databases including client systems.

Standard 

1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
2. Proficient with Microsoft office suite (excel/word/outlook/powerpoint).
3. Full UK driving License.
4. Trade background NVQ (Desirable)
