The business are working primarily within refurbishment and maintenance across their regional base in Hertfordshire. The ideal quantity surveyor will have a minimum of 5 years experience working within a very similar sector. The business are a leading operation with office locations across the UK. We are looking for someone with at least five years’ experience. The position will be office based with some home working offered after probation period. Be able to tender low value lump sum projects (up to £200K). Have experience working with SOR’s Understand construction frameworks. Manage commercial aspects of live projects (agree variations, submit monthly valuation, approve sub-contractor payments, and agree final accounts) Follow process and have a good commercial understanding of construction projects.
